We're proud of our research team's breakthrough scientific discoveries. Our research agenda over the next several years is focused on uncovering the origins and drivers of antibiotic-resistant bacteria; quantifying the drug-resistant human infections arising from antibiotic overuse in food animals; engineering diagnostics to guide antibiotic prescription, improve patient care, and decrease healthcare costs; and developing probiotic therapies to block the spread of antibiotic-resistant bacteria.
