Marwa Hameed holds a Bachelor of Science in Cellular and Molecular Biology from The George Washington University, where her undergraduate research on Trypanosoma brucei drug resistance cultivated a lasting focus on neglected tropical diseases and public health. She is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Public Health Microbiology and Emerging Infectious Diseases at GW. Marwa is deeply interested in translating molecular biology knowledge into epidemiological applications to better understand disease transmission dynamics and inform evidence-based public health interventions.
