Brandon Tower holds a Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology from Grand Valley State University and a Master of Science in Public Health Microbiology and Emerging Infectious Diseases from The George Washington University. His undergraduate research focused on investigating biofilm formation in Salmonella typhimurium, sparking a lasting interest in the intersection of microbiology and public health. Brandon is passionate about studying the pathogenicity of bacteria and understanding how microbial mechanisms impact human health, with the goal of informing prevention and control strategies for infectious diseases.
