Yashan Wang

Graduate Research Assistant (PhD Student) Yashan Wang is a PhD candidate in the Department of Environmental and Occupational Health. She has multi-disciplinary training and experience in food science, public health, data science, and engineering. Her current research focuses on recognizing and quantifying zoonotic extraintestinal E. coli infections from food animals using advanced genomic methods. She also works on a project that involves emerging antifungal-resistant environmental fungi.
