Reed is a Senior Research Assistant in the Antibiotic Resistance Action Center. His research currently focuses on antifungal resistance in Aspergillus infections and environmental isolates and how the nasal microbiome interacts with the local nasal immune environment. He graduated in 2023 from Princeton University where he studied Ecology and Evolutionary Biology with certificates in Global Health and Theater. There, he wrote his senior thesis on interactions between gut microbiome and nemabiome in large African herbivores.
