Graduate Research Assistant
Felicity Nelson is a graduate research assistant at ARAC. She works primarily in the center's laboratory, helping to research the link between antimicrobial use in meat production and human antibiotic-resistant infections. She graduated from the George Washington University in May 2018 with a Bachelor of Science in Public Health and is continuing on to pursue a Master's degree in Public Health Epidemiology at the university. During her undergraduate, she worked professionally in various public health topics ranging from tobacco use to orphan diseases to health education. She has greatly enjoyed the transition into infectious diseases work through ARAC.
